LG dives into 5 inch class hybrid smartphone

Jan. 5th, "LG is developing 5 inch class smartphone now." said anonymous person of LG. Its 5 inch class hybrid smartphone which is expected to rolls out in the first half of this year will be LTE version and a flagship model with the best specification. Eventually, hybrid smartphone might be a mainstream in Korea with existing 5 inch hybrids like as Galaxy Note and Vega #5 of Pentech(www.pentech.com/english). Accordingly the applications which is for large display and stylus pen are expected to gush in the market.

Nevertheless, Galaxy Note ranked at the top podium

Dec 23th, reportedly Samsung Galaxy Note which people pay to get $100 more than general LTE smartphones, sold 8.5K ~ 9K units in a day by major Korean carriers, SKT and LG U+.  Prior to Galaxy Note,  the best selling position was flipped over day to day between Galaxy S2 HD and LG Optimus LTE under promo supporting of LG U+. 8th day, Samsung had a press conference for a new concept contents "Cine Note" with three popular film director, musicians and webtoon writers.

The content of "Cine Note" melts webtoons, movie and music which are made with only Galaxy Note.

The participants of "Cine Note" are film director Jaeyong Lee(Starlets), Hyeongcheol Gang (Sunny), Hoon Jang(gojijeon), and actor Jeongwoo Ha, singer Seungchul Lee, webtoon writer Jeho Shon (Noblesse) and Gwangsu Lee.
