LG could be a reference maker with Intel's Medfield, But....

What is this? Intel's embarrassing or LG's decision mistake after kicking Andy Rubin of Android?

Reportedly from Korea Times, even declining official confirmation, last Friday a top executive of LG said "LG Electronics will produce Intel's first Android smarthpones that use Intel's own mobile platform. The device will be shown at the CES". In addition "Personally, I doubt that LG Electronics will release phones running on Android software based on any Intel platform. It's quite possible for LG to push Intel's reference mobiles but with huge subsidies from Intel for promotion." said another LG executive, asking not to be identified. He added that the Intel phone will be on shelves from March at the earliest.

Samsung Slate 7 issue

Company unravel about unexpectedly declining CPU performance unexpectedly on Slate PC series 7 which was escalated recently by new reports.

Samsung Slate PC Series 7 CPU shows on normal operation.
Samsung's Slate 7 has optimized configurations for CPU, battery and graphics and there is no possibility to be experienced that performance declining in general usage case like word processing, internet, video and etc.
(Based on i5-2467M, CPU operates at 1.6Ghz and 2.3GHz in turbo mode)

The thermal control of CPU is a bread and butter technology to protect both user and device. In worst case of long operating with heavy load software, the device goes into down clock situation to cool down CPU temperature temporarily.

Samsung Slate 7 employed the most advanced "CTDP(Controllable Thermal Design Power") technology which allows more precision controlling of temperature and performance of device.

The world first "CTDP" proposed from Samsung and Intel, adjusts CPU clock frequency between 800Mhz and 2.3Ghz in all time when the temperature of CPU exceed to proper level. It allows to manage device in optimum status between themal emission and best performance.
