Nikon have launched its flagship DSLR D4 with 11fps continuous shooting speed. However extra astonishing one as much as this continous speed is popping up brand new memory card, Sony's XQD card which has 1Gbps data transfer rate with PCIe interface.
Like Sony has struggled to expand its proprietary card, memory stick, they are trying to make new standard in flash memory card field. Nikon D4 user should pay extra $129.99 at least for 16G XQD card. It looks enough to keep our eyes on this new card's future.
XQD Card | 125MB/sec |
SDHC Class 10 | 10MB/sec |
Compact Flash A | 91MB/sec |
Compact Flash B | 71MB/sec |
